ADVANTECH-AURES Unveils the YUNO II: Enhanced Performance with Flexible Configuration in a Refined POS Design

ADVANTECH-AURES, a global provider of point-of-sale technologies and a designer of high-performance retail hardware, introduces the YUNO II all-in-one POS terminal. Building on the proven YUNO platform, with more than 400,000 terminals deployed worldwide across a wide range of business sectors, YUNO II preserves the iconic design language and compact footprint of the original system while delivering enhanced hardware performance, improved ergonomics, and greater flexibility enabled by its dual-motherboard concept, as well as additional color options to better meet diverse retail branding needs.

Built on an x86 architecture, YUNO II is equipped with a choice of three 11th-generation Intel® processors (Intel® Celeron, Intel® Core™ i3/i5 ) and two new 12th-generation Intel® N-series processors, meeting increasingly stringent environmental standards.

The system is designed for fanless operation, enabling low power consumption, quiet performance, and long-term stability. With up to 10 years of long-term availability, the selected processor platforms support scalable, sustainable POS deployments.

YUNO II is designed with users in mind. Available with an optimized, highly responsive touchscreen in 4:3 (15”) or 16:9 (15.6”) formats, YUNO II supports a wide range of use cases. A 90-degree adjustable tilt enhances viewing comfort and interaction efficiency for both staff and customers.   

YUNO II also offers multiple I/O expansion options, including an internal I/O module, external miniHUB, and external HUB-X. The POS I/O module features a multi-connector design leveraging USB-C technology to integrate power, audio, and video output for maximum flexibility and convenience.

YUNO II features a secure, user-friendly safety latch system for effortless installation and removal of the processor module, providing quick, secure access to internal components through the rear of the system. A magnetic rear cover and integrated cable routing help keep wiring organized and discreet, reducing service time during deployment and on-site maintenance.

With YUNO II, maintenance is more efficient, downtime is reduced, and clear system status indications support reliable day-to-day operation, even in demanding retail environments.

YUNO II retains the recognizable design language of the YUNO POS family, refined and streamlined to achieve a more modern appearance without compromising stability at the sales counter. Even lighter than its predecessor, the system remains stable and well-suited to a wide range of commercial environments. To support retail branding requirements, YUNO II is available in gray-black as standard, with optional gray-white and full-white color configurations.

Reflecting ADVANTECH-AURES’ commitment to sustainability, YUNO II features eco-friendly packaging. A range of associated peripherals is available, including a customer display and an optional 10-inch rear screen.

YUNO II is currently available with 11th Gen Intel® processors. Systems equipped with 12th Gen Intel® platforms are scheduled to enter mass production by the end of Q1 2026.
