For more demanding vision AI workloads, DS-054 also supports M.2 2230 E-Key expansion, which can be used for wireless connectivity or AI acceleration modules such as Hailo-8. This allows system integrators to build scalable and flexible heterogeneous AI architectures according to application needs.

For public-facing signage networks, system uptime and service efficiency are critical. DS-054 is designed with Out-of-Band remote management and EDID support, helping simplify display setup, stabilize display behavior, and accelerate recovery after cable disconnection or signal interruption. With EdgeBMC, users can perform remote power control, hardware monitoring, remote BIOS configuration, OTA updates, and log collection.
