How Derby County FC Improved Matchday Foodservice with Self-Service Kiosks
Discover how Derby County Football Club transformed matchday food and beverage services at Pride Park Stadium with ADVANTECH-AURES self-service kiosks, making ordering faster, more convenient, and more accessible for football fans.
With an average attendance of 27,000 supporters per match, Pride Park faces intense demand during pre-match and half-time periods. Working alongside Delaware North and Oolio UK–Swiftpos, ADVANTECH-AURES helped introduce a self-service ordering solution designed to reduce queues and improve service efficiency.
The deployment includes 16 KOMET and KRYSTAL self-service kiosks across stadium concourses, bar areas, and disabled viewing sections. Integrated ordering and payment allow supporters to purchase refreshments more independently, while dedicated kiosks in accessible seating areas enable in-seat food and beverage delivery.
The results demonstrate the business value of stadium self-service technology: a 10% increase in overall sales, shorter queues, smoother crowd flow, and greater accessibility for supporters.
